We thought it would be fun to ask our friends and other artists 5 random questions to get a glimpse into what they're currently into. Of course, it's only fair to start with ourselves.

What is your favorite art making tool?

There isn't just one: pencils, erasers, embroidery thread and gouache are at the top of my list right now. 

What music/band/artist are you listening to the most right now?

Otis Redding

Where do you go for peace and quiet?

I run a loop in Prospect Park. 

Where is your next dream travel destination?

Ireland, with a pit stop in Iceland. 

Is there a color or palette that you are drawn to?

 What is your favorite art making tool?

A camera of any kind, preferably with film.  

What music/band/artist are you listening to the most right now?

The songs that I currently can't get enough of are GMF by John Grant & Thank God for Sinners by Ty Segall. 

Where do you go for peace and quiet? 

Prospect Park is a green paradise for me, and I also find great peace and quiet concentration at our studio in Gowanus.

Where is your next dream travel destination?

I am dreaming about our next visit to California and first-ever visit to Seattle next year. Internationally, my husband and I might go to Scotland (with a pit-stop in Iceland!) so he can work on his brogue.

Is there a color or palette that you are drawn to?

I can't get enough of textured black and white patterns and images these days. Here are some from recent photos:
